Synopsis
This classic Japanese katana has 27 inch hand forged, hand made, high carbon steel blade with full tang construction and a blood groove. The 10.75 inch real ray skin handle has a black cotton ito braid wrapped over it.The katana can be disassembled for easier care and maintenance. The saya (scabbard) has a high gloss burgandy finish with a black cotton sageo (wrap around scabbard). The cast metal tsuba (guard) is two toned with a field of grass and a tree. The leaves of the tree and the flower blossoms are done in a 2nd color for a striking look.. Includes sword bag and decorative triangular box is designed to be a display stand as well. 41 inches overall.
